The Lighthouse of Alexandria or Faro Lighthouse is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This lighthouse was both a fortress outpost of Alexandria in Egypt and an observation point, as from its top they watched the fleet of enemies approaching the city. The tower housed technical devices: weathercocks, clocks, astronomical instruments and more. The lighthouse was built for 20 years in the middle of the III millennium BC and it became the tallest building in the ancient world, except for the pyramids of Giza. The Faroese lighthouse illuminated the way for sailors for more than 1500 years. But a powerful earthquake in 1326 destroyed this one of the largest architectural structures in the world. A reduced copy of the almost 150-meter masterpiece of engineering and architectural art of antiquity can now be assembled by hand from the wooden parts included in the 3D model from Mr.Playwood, they only need to be detached from the tablets and assembled without glue according to the instructions
